Mechanical Engineering Degree (BA/BSc)

Experience:-1-4 Years of Experience in the field of Piping QA/QC Dept. Local experience in similar field is highly advantageous. 

Key Knowledge:

• Proficient in Piping systems and its components(Pipes, fittings, Valves, special items)
• Good Knowledge required in ASME 31.3 AND 31.1 Standards.
• Good Knowledge required in Piping codes and standards (SHELL DEP/ASME/ANSI/API/BS/ADNOC Spec is highly advantageous).
• Good Knowledge required in Steel Material Testings and inspection.
• Good Knowledge required  in NDEs & PMI 
• Good Knowledge required in ITP development and review.
• Good Knowledge required in reviewing of AutoCAD drawings.

Job descriptions

• Review project specifications related to inquiries or orders and ensure the quality requirements are properly notified & accounted for in the offer or order acceptance.
• Co-ordinate and arrange for any Technical Submittals required along with the quotations or during purchase order execution.
• Liaise with the procurement department to cover all technicalities prior to purchasing activities.
• Plan a quality material inspection at supplier premises or warehouse when required.
• Co-ordinate with the operations department on matters related to quality control and procurement throughout the order execution.
• Co-ordinate with manufacturers and end users on matters related to quality control during the manufacturing, inspection & other required stages of order execution.
• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the management.
