ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle established accounts to gain familiarity, including documentation and field work - making
• bookings, handling origin agents, quoting rates, checking for pre-alerts
• Communicate with clients to better understand customer needs and implement as per requirement.
• Understand processes in-depth, analyze efficiency, improve current SOPs to maximise resource utilisation
• Working with customer and government portals, coordinating with airlines and sea vessels in order to complete shipments on time.
• Analyzing profitability of account handled and identifying ways to improve the same.
• Visiting field operations, interacting with warehouse staff and managing cargo operations on-field, when required
• Taking care of shipment execution from the time of booking till the final delivery, coordinating and planning for shipment delivery schedule
• Ensuring timely completion of work in order to meet customer's timelines.
• Maintaining accurate records of shipments, airway bill stock maintenance, keeping track of handovers and alerting the airlines of the same
• Finding out-of-the-box solutions to problems that arise, keeping in line with the management.
• Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face.
• Learning and using various software(s) to carry out all day to day activities
